Alumni Program
History - 25 Years of Conservation and Education!
Since 1985, more than 5,000 young people have enrolled in our conservation and education programs. We are working hard to stay connected – and to reconnect – with VYCC alumni. Not only do we want to share news and updates on current programs and initiatives, but we also believe that when alumni are connected to the VYCC, and to each other, they can provide a great professional support network. It’s also just plain fun to hang out with friends from the trail.
Stay Connected
Looking to get back in touch with fellow crew members? Whether you are right around the corner or halfway around the world, it’s easy to stay connected. Visit the official Vermont Youth Conservation Corps Facebook Page. And, for those of you who Tweet, you can follow us on Twitter.
Update Your Information
Have you moved? Changed your name? Had a baby? Tied the knot? Moved a big rock up a hill? Let us know!
We are always interested updating our database. If your contact info has changed, please send us your name, address, which crew(s) you were on, the year(s), and a biography of what you have been up to since your VYCC experience.
Once we have your updated information we will send you our monthly eNewsletter and include you on our mailing lists for alumni events. Please also let us know if there are specific people that you wish to contact, and we will do our best to reconnect you with them. Please send information to alumni@vycc.org or use the alumni update form.
Want to Help?
We’re looking for a few VYCC diehards who want to help us think build a strong and growing VYCC Alumni Association. What we’re really trying to do is to help people stay connected and to find better ways the VYCC can support alumni. If you’re interested, email alumni@vycc.org. Or, you can pick up the phone and call Bethany Hanna at 802.434.3969, ext. 122.
2009 Yearbook
The 2009 Yearbook is in! This publication is filled with all of the people, projects and partners that helped make up the last year at the VYCC. To save paper, we’ve published it online this year. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
Check back for the 2010 Yearbook, due out this spring!
